Bed Sore Pillow Set

Grabbed this pillow set to actually use as a prop for my wife who is having some breathing issues at night. It does not work as we had hoped, however, she has been able to manipulate it to be a base for her other pillows. This helps in taking pressure off of her right shoulder that was injured in a fall 13 years ago. She had torn her rotator cuff and had surgery - now and again, after exercise, it does hurt some at night. The larger pillow does take off the pressure so that she can lay on her right side with no extra pain.The little pillow adds a little height when she is laying in bed and reading. I can see how it would be helpful for someone with certain injuries. It also does come in handy to lift your feet up during some floor exercises. As far as the anti-slip bottoms, they do stay in place fairly well while she sleeps at night.The covers are VERY NICE quality, and do zipper off to be washed, if needed. It IS a quality product - if you are needing to give something a try for someone who is bedridden or spends a lot of time resting, this might be the right set for them. My wife even considered how the pillow would work for a pregnant momma. She could see using the small pillow as a knee pillow to take some pressure off, as well as possibly using the larger pillow to maneuver around the body and baby bump.

I got this positioning wedge for a family member that has become bedridden. They must be turned and repositioned often to prevent bed sores. The pillow is soft, yet firm enough to support them in different positions. I really like that it has the slip resistant bottom on the covering. It really helps it to stay in pace. This is a great deal for such a well made pillow wedge.

I got this because I have developed pressure sores. I put it in my recliner and use the auxiliary pillow for lumbar support. They work very well to relieve pain. The non- skid fabric keeps it in place like it was sewn down. Even though it‘s pretty expensive, it’s totally worth it. I may get another one for my bed.When you have a persistent pressure sore, it feels so good to get some relief.

This is a really good pillow set. It's a bit thinner than expected but it's still perfect. I wish that the extra auxiliary pillow was a bit thicker for when I elevate my legs because it's still rather flat. Other than that, I think that it's a really good set and it serves a really good purpose. It's really soft and I can really appreciate that! I'm definite that it's a very versatile pillow set.Overall, i would recommend this for use in nursing facilities, for disabled persons, for elderly, etc.

Great product. Good price, quality fabric and foam. Foam is firm but not hard. Covers are sewn together well and fabric is good quality and soft. Both the inner and outer zippered covers can be removed and washed. Would recommend.
